Neat, elegant, and yet brimming with personality, the Sejour Lounge Chair is a fine blend of the new with the familiar. Though small in size, it is extremely comfortable, with a deep, generous seat and a distinctively curved backrest. Designed by the Danish-Italian duo GamFratesi, the Sejour Lounge Chair bears the finely-balanced contrasts that are the hallmarks of their collaborations: soft with hard, warm with cool, weight with lightness. The tactile interplay of brass and upholstery fabric gives the chair a rich and engaging personality. Indeed, place two of them adjacent to each other and they appear as though deep in conversation. Inspired by the Victorian era ‘slipper chair’, infused with mid-century Scandinavian design tradition, and even referencing the iconic Beetle Chair, the mix of new with familiar makes a bold and welcoming statement in office receptions, hotel lobbies and living rooms, and pairs magnificently with the Sejour Chair with armrest.
