Why We Love It

A folding chair fit for royalty. Originally designed by Bjorn Hulten in 1975 for the Swedish Embassy in Cairo, the Skargaarden Kryss Lounge Chair has a unique form evocative of King Tut's throne. Instead of gold, ivory and ebony, this chair is made with comfortable outdoor fabric and a teak frame. Special notches in the frame allow the chair to fold up for easy transport and/or storage.

  • A-grade teak frame with fabric fitted to the backrest with leather.
  • Matching cushions included.
  • Make it a set with the Kryss Table.
  • Seat length: 16.5.
  • Seat width: 16.5.
  • Armrest height: 25.
  • Originally designed for a roof terrace on the Swedish Embassy in Cairo in 1975.
  • Oil teak wood annually to retain original look, otherwise it will slowly turn a patinated gray with weather.
  • If out of stock, item typically ships in 8 weeks - contact us for availability.
