The Z-Bar Pro versions are the ultimate in lighting versatility and energy efficiency. It features tunable light color temperature, an occupancy sensor, and a USB-C charging port to charge your devices. The super-adjustable LED head can be positioned in any direction thanks to its ability to spin in its socket, sweep side to side and rotate around the end of the arm. With the touchstrip located near the LED head, you can easily adjust the brightness to your desired level. Whether you prefer to dim gradually or jump directly to your desired level, the touchstrip makes it easy. The Z-Bar Pro versions are the perfect lighting solution for any professional or personal use.
- The original Z-Bar design was Koncept’s flagship product in 2004, and has enjoyed tremendous global success.
- “Generation 4” is the fourth revamp of the original Z-Bar design. An improved joint design allows for a cleaner profile and greater articulation. The optics have been improved so that multiple, harsh shadows are avoided; instead the user gets soft, even shadows.
- Z-Bar Gen 4 maintains some beloved characteristics such as a minimalist profile, high flexibility and compatibility with various desk and wall mounts.
- The "Pro" version desk lamps come with an occupancy sensor and USB port for charging compatible devices. It also allows users to choose and adjust their color temperatures (from 2,700-5,000 K) to coincide with their circadian rhythms.
- Z-Bar Gen 4’s light is even more diffused than that of its predecessor. Shadows cast under this lamp are incredibly soft. The standard Z-Bar Gen 4’s light can be adjusted all the way up to 570 lumens, which is 20% brighter than the Gen 3 version. Z-Bar Pro is even brighter.
- All Z-Bar desk lamps are compatible with a range of mounting options, including the wireless charging base, or wall mounts, desk mounts and through-table mounts.
- The Z-Bar is available in many color finishes. The Z-Bar mini has even a wider range of choices.
- Each desk lamp version of Z-Bar Gen 4 has a “Pro” counterpart. Z-Bar Pro, Z-Bar Mini Pro and Z-Bar Solo Pro offer rapid USB-C charging, an occupancy sensor to preserve energy and tunable light temperature (from warm to cool white light). The Pros are 20% brighter than the standard versions.
- The lamp also works with alternative desk bases such as Koncept's Qi base (wirelessly charges compatible devices).
- Users can power on/off or adjust the brightness of the light by gently touching a dimmer strip on the lamp's head.
