Varying structures and material surfaces create a harmonious sense of depth, balance and tranquillity in Satomi. Inspired by the Bauhaus movement from the ´20s, the geometric forms give a subtle contrast of different structures. Crafted in a wool-viscose blend, Satomi has a softness and solidity which makes it the perfect rug for the living areas in your home.
- Hand-tufted in India.
- 95% wool / 5% viscose construction.
- 100% cotton backing.
- Variations in color and texture can arise between batches of yarn and dye baths.
- Slight irregularities may occur as a result of the handmade process.
- For regular care and cleaning, vacuum in the direction of the rug's pile; do not vacuum with the brushes in an outward-facing position. Do not clean stains on viscose with water as it may damage the rug. To be washed flat by a professional carpet cleaner.
- Most new rugs shed, and this is very normal; excess pile should be removed from the rug as it appears.
- Heavy furniture on the rug may leave the pile flat which is a normal characteristic for viscose/wool rugs.
- Please note that the colors may fade if the rug is exposed to strong sunlight for an extended period.
- A rug pad underlay is recommended to avoid discoloration.
