The Cast Naturals Collection highlights Phillips Collection's skills at taking an innovative material and making it feel as if it sprang from nature. The Burled Bowl is made of composite that has been molded to look like a piece of burled wood that it took nature eons to create. The advantage of having a decorative accessory made from this durable material is that it will long outlast its natural counterparts pulled from the forest floor.
- This piece is the perfect representation of the Phillips Collection ethos: modern organic.
- Gold and Silver Leaf finish is applied to cast resin form by hand. This finish is NOT suitable for outdoor use.
- The Glossy White Gel Coat finish is made from a calcium carbonate powder mixed with resin. This finish is suitable for outdoor and indoor use.
- The bronze finish uses real bronze powders applied to a resin form. This finish can be used outdoors and indoors. Please note if this item is used outdoors or exposed to water, the finish will develop a greenish patina.
- The faux wood bowl is actually made from resin and is hand painted to look just like the real thing. Our cast version is lighter-weight and repeatable, so every piece has the same shape, size, and hand-painted pattern. Due to the hand-painted nature of this piece, color and detail may have a slight variance.
- Care: When cleaning your piece we recommend dusting it with a soft cloth. You can also gently wipe with a soft damp cloth with soap and water. Do not use any harsh chemicals as this can lead to stripping the finish or potential peeling.
