IOI Wall Mirror

Why We Love It

Drawing on geometric Art Deco references with a contemporary design language, GamFratesi designed the IOI Wall Mirror, a timeless piece, ideal for contemporary audiences and interiors. The ‘sticks and sphere’ motif is reflected in the shape of the letters that form their name, pronounced ‘i-o-i.’

The brass sphere works as both a functional ‘spacer’ to strengthen the dual pipe-like mirror struts, and as an intimately considered signature detail or ‘pause’ that emphasizes both its own materiality and the careful attention paid to the spaces between the elements of each piece.

Related to the IOI Collection tables, but also independent, the IOI Wall Mirror is in its element above a console table in a residential setting or as a sculptural statement at the entrance of a corporate or hospitality space.

  • The circular form of the small solid brass sphere is echoed in the reflective surface of the mirror, to which the eye is drawn by the tapering of its black vertical struts and frame.
  • Vertical detailing draws attention to the mirror, which multiplies a room's best features.
  • With their carefully considered details, the IOI Collection achieves an intelligent fusion of Art Deco elements from the past and undisputedly modern ideas, resulting in timeless pieces ideal for contemporary audiences and interiors.
