Eternity shell is made of Mater Circular Materials. An innovative technology allows them to upcycle fiber-based waste materials with recycled plastic waste. The Chair itself is a very comfortable, functional stackable chair with industrial and sculptural features.
- In alliance with large corporations, Mater explores new technology that recycles industrial fiber and plastic waste. This results in five new unique patented materials under the name Matek®.
- Mater's steel is composed of 20% recycled steel. Steel is a strong and light material with the quality that it can be processed in unlimited ways.
- Eternity is designed for disassembly, meaning that the design allows each component in its purest form to recycle into new production circles.
- This product is produced in a production facility that is 100% powered by hydropower – a renewable energy resource.
- Mater believes in the importance of transparency. By doing Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) on their furniture, they can analyze the total climate emission for each of our product’s lifespan.
- The chair has a rounded back and seat.
- Shell is made of 70% industrial plastic waste from Grohe mixed with 30% Coffee Been waste.
- Upholstery: Kvadrat Re-wool: 45% recycled wool, 45% new wool worsted and 10% nylon.
- Has steel legs with a gunmetal finish.
