- The backrest is bent in an angle that provides a surprisingly comfortable sitting position.
- Nestor is available with a woven paper-cord seat, which is a reference to the old shaker tradition, while the resilient material makes the chair comfortable to sit in.
- From the outset, Mater's ambition has been to use FSC-certified wood in their production. This is now implemented with small exceptions. In an FSC® certified forest, no more trees than the forest can reproduce are felled, so the exploitation of nature is avoided.
- Mater believes in the importance of transparency. By doing Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) on their furniture, they can analyze the total climate emission for each of our product’s lifespan.
- FSC certified beech or oak wood frame with paper cord seat.
- The wide armrest matches the backrest and creates a large surface to rest the arm, which increases comfort.
- Hard plastic gliders installed as standard.
