Why We Love It

The iconic Gräshoppa Table Lamp was first produced in 1947 by the feminine pioneer Greta M. Grossman. The unique tubular stand of the Gräshoppa Table Lamp is tilted forwards and gives the impression that the lamp is somehow alive and stalking its prey. Being one of Grossman’s most iconic designs, the authentic lamp has an elongated conical shade that rotates to direct light where needed.

  • Greta M. Grossman designed the iconic Gräshoppa Lamp in 1947 and with its sophisticated yet playful design, it is still as relevant today.
  • The distinctive, elongated conical shade is beautifully combined with a tubular brass stand, a great example of Grossman’s whimsical design language, that is both organic and modern.
  • The Gräshoppa Lamp brings not only a perfect, functional addition to the desk but can also be used as a sophisticated light object in any room.
  • Powder-coated steel shade in a wide-ranging palette.
  • Solid brass swivel allows the shade to tilt and rotate 360°.
  • Brass tube arm and brass-plated base.
  • Brass textile cord.
  • If out of stock, item typically ships in 6-8 weeks.
